New bottle emporium opens its doors in St Neots

24th May 2018

A new independent food and drink shop has opened its doors in Cross Keys Mews, in St Neots.

The bottle emporium, called Shume, will sell a selection of artisan drinks and food items from the outlet, which is based in the centre of the town, just off the High Street.

There will be a range of beers, several and also different types of coffee. This will be sold alongside unique cheeses and other items.

Shumë (pronounced Shum) comes from the Albanian expression for more/lots of choice and is the brainchild of owner Luan Saraqi.

Mr Saraqi said: “A central town centre position was important to me.

“I am excited at being able to share my love of great food and drink with others in the town.”

The store is stocking more than 150 beers and these will range from local brews to a specialist range of Belgian beers.

There will also be a selection of 10 gins, which will feature Ely Gin, and freshly roasted artisan coffee will also be available to buy.
