The Hunts Post Huntingdonshire Business Awards 2015
A memorable night to honour finalists and the winners of The Hunts Post Huntingdonshire Business Awards 2015.
The 18th annual awards evening was hosted by BBC Look East presenter Stewart White, who has lead these awards for the last 16 years. Held at the Burgess Hall, St Ives, business men and women wore their finest suits and gowns for the glamorous gala awards ceremony. Guests enjoyed a sumptuous three course meal and were entertained by the luscious, cheeky and joyful harmonies of jive/swing quartet Genie and the Jive Bombers.
The Hunts Post chose the new MacMillan Woodlands Centre in Hinchingbrooke as its charity for the evening. Thanks to the generous contributions of the guests, the raffle draw and auction raised £3,183.86, including a surprise additional afternoon tea at the House of Commons.
To add to the successful fundraising, the Woodlands Centre managed to secure two Business Champions who have promised to raise £1,000 each for the charity.
All in all the evening was a huge success, recognising and rewarding businesses in 14 categories, with Buffaload Logistics Ltd coming out as the overall winner taking home 4 awards in total, including the Business of the Year Award.
